                037_small.jpg (3087 bytes)                    Arne's art is influenced greatly by his  time spent river running,                                                                                                         hiking and mountain biking in northern Arizona. 

              042.jpg (24530 bytes)                  Born in California; growing up in Redlands, he moved to Flagstaff in                                                                                                         1967 to study forestry at Northern Arizona University.   Instead he                                                                                                         discovered clay and earned a B.F.A. in ceramics in 1972

            024.jpg (34878 bytes)                   He has been throwing pots in Flagstaff ever since graduating.                                                                                                          His gallery/studio name is Arne Ceramics, located on the famous                                                                                                         Route 66 highway....out west.

Firing                                                                                                           temperatures reach 2400 degrees Fahrenheit.  All glazes are                                                                                                          lead/toxin free.  All items are dishwasher and microwave safe!  Soft,                                                                                                          rounded edges provide long lasting chip resistant use.
